LPBC Annual Meeting, BBQ and
2008-2009 Board Elections
JULY 9, 2008

Eva Kosinski, LPBC Chair

On Wednesday, July 9, 2008, the Libertarian Party of Boulder County will hold its annual meeting and election for officers. It will include, as usual, an accompanying BBQ, this year at Greg Woods' and Eva Kosinski's house in Louisville. Click for map.

Bring anything you want to BBQ --- veggies and general munchies will be provided, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and water.

General munchies, food and chat start after 5:00 pm and the meeting itself will begin at 7:00 pm. Bringing a folding chair or two might not be a bad idea.

We will also be recapping the past year, looking at what we've accomplished, what we could have done better, what we need for resources for the coming year, etc., and we will, of course, be voting for the 2008-2009 Board of Directors (click for PDF Ballot).

Nominations for officers can be made at any time up until 3pm on the day of the Annual meeting. Call 303-666-5872 and press option 3 to leave a message, email nominations to board@lpboulder.org, or fill in the blanks on the mail-in ballot enclosed with this newsletter, and your nominations will be added to the ballot at the meeting, assuming that the nominees mentioned are indeed willing to serve. NOTE: Mail-in ballots must be *received* by 3:00 pm the day of the meeting. Specific information concerning Elections of Officers may be found here.

Any feedback from the membership about the past year's LPBC board performance is welcome, so if you wish to enclose any with your ballot, positive or negative (we learn from both), it would be appreciated. These will be read at the meeting.

Nominations will also be taken at the meeting itself, so mail-in ballots cannot reflect all of your possible choices, so going to the meeting, if at all possible, is recommended.

Hope to see you all there!
