Finding Info on the Internet

• Because there are hundreds of freedom-oriented web sites, it has become impractical to manually search through them all. Instead, I suggest using a good search engine to find information. My current favorite is google.com. You can do a general search, or further qualify it by adding words such as "libertarian" and/or "colorado".

• Two other excellent search engines which are oriented towards freedom or politics are Free-market.net and politicalinformation.com.

• If you do want to search a particular site, you can either go to that site and see if it has a site search engine (many do), or you can use a general search engine (like google.com) and limit it to that particular site (e.g. "site:www.lpcolorado.org"). To find sites that are oriented to certain issues (e.g. guns, health) you can try checking the links at LP Boulder's web site.

• I have thrown in a few of the major Libertarian sites which do have their own search enginges and/or are topic-oriented.

• I have also included a few government-oriented web sites, an email list, and a couple newsgroups. The idea with these latter two is that you could post a question to the list/group and see if you get any helpful responses.
