Censorship is Un-American

Not to mention illegal. The First Amendment states: "Congress shall make no law... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or of the right of the people peaceably to assemble..."

What part of "no law" don't the Remocrats and Depublicans in Congress understand?

If elected to the Colorado Legislature, I will vote against any bill that entails censorship, in any form, of anything, for any reason. I have proudly joined more than 20,000 other Internet users in becoming a member of the Citizens Internet Empowerment Coalition (CIEC), which is lobbying Congress to rescind the provisions of the Communications "Decency" Act.

Of all the candidates for President, exactly one participated in the protest by turning his web page black for 48 hours after Clinton signed the bill: Harry Browne, Libertarian. Harry was also the first Presidential candidate to have a web page.

That ought to tell you something.
