Back for a return engagement: The LPBC made its debut at the Columbus Day Parade in 2005
This is a popular event, drawing a large crowd from Denver and beyond, and we're right in the heart of the happenings. Last year the Libertarian float was on National TV To Volunteer email or call the LPBC Webmaster / 720-323-0570 Here is a list of the LP Volunteers so far: Norm Olsen, Congressional District 4 Candidate; Dawn Winkler, Gubernatorial Candidate; David Cox, Libertarian from Palisade; Mike Spalding, Jefferson County LP; Paul Tiger, Boulder County LP Claire Gersch, Adams County Libertarian Activist Bo Shaffer, Candidate for Boulder County Sheriff; Frank Atwood, Arapahoe County LP; Kary Chappell, Jefferson County LP; Mykl Kryka, Adams County Libertarian Activist Marc Goddard, Denver LP; Kristopher Chappell, Jefferson County LP Participants will meet between 8 and 9am on East 14th Street between Bannock & Elati streets. This is a four block section of 14th. Our Lady Liberty float will most likely be located near the corner of Delaware and 14th. <=mapquest link The parade will begin at 10am. The starting point is 15th & Court Place, and end at 14th & Broadway. The route will take us NW on 15th to Stout; then NE on Stout to 17th; then SE on 17th to Broadway; then south on Broadway to 14th. The parade will complete its route directly in front of the State Capitol building. Fantastic photo op for candidates! After the parade The Sons of Italy will host a "feastival" at Potenza Lodge Hall. This is located at 1900 W 38th Ave. in Denver.
